Issues: Fighting for our Communities

Born and raised on the South Shore of Nassau County, Todd has a long history of standing up for his community. Growing up with grandparents and a mom who were public school educators, Todd has always been passionate about protecting and improving the South Shore. That’s why after Hurricane Sandy, Todd provided free legal service to homeowners in need, and helped raise thousands of dollars for local school supplies.

As an Assemblyman, Todd has continued to fight for our communities by:

  • Restoring full-service emergency services on the Barrier Island
  • Securing a large increase in state school funding for South Shore school districts
  • Defeating the proposed offshore Port Ambrose Liquified Natural Gas terminal
  • Preventing National Grid from charging Sandy victims for repairs
